Personal:
Darin Jaske, the manager of We Help People With Homes, was born and raised in Franklin Park, a village just west of Chicago, Illinois. With the exception of college and a few short relocations, he has spent most of his life in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

A strong faith in God is central to Darin’s identity and values. He is 55 years young, single (and hopeful to meet his Queen), and does not have children. Known for his extroverted and adventurous spirit, Darin brings energy and sincerity to everything he does.
​
Darin is grateful to still have both of his parents in his life, who continue to show love and devotion to each other after 66 years of marriage. He also has two siblings, a beloved niece, and a spirited nephew who keeps things interesting.​​​​​​
Hobbies:
One of Darin Jaske’s favorite hobbies is riding his Harley Davidson, affectionately named “Betsy.” He has a passion for building and fixing things with his own hands, and he enjoys camping, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.

From a young age, Darin was curious, crafty, and mechanically inclined. A childhood story his family still remembers is the time he took apart his bicycle into countless pieces and proudly showed it off to his father. While his dad wasn’t thrilled at first, it became clear that Darin had a natural mechanical talent.

At just six years old, his parents bought him a mini-bike, which he rode until the rubber wore off the tires. He later received his first motocross bike, a Suzuki RM 80, and began racing competitively through high school. At sixteen, Darin got his first muscle car, which he completely disassembled, rebuilt, and eventually took to the drag strip.
Those early hands-on experiences helped shape his adventurous spirit and love for anything that moves fast and can be built from the ground up.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bradley University 1993.

Construction Experience:
Darin Jaske grew up surrounded by the construction industry. His father, a general contractor, founded a company called Décor Builders. The business began with garage construction, eventually expanding into commercial interior build-outs, and later into purchasing raw land and developing semi-custom spec homes.

After college, Darin held various engineering roles before launching his own remodeling business in his late twenties, successfully running it for about seven years. He later returned to corporate America, working in technical sales, but his passion for real estate and hands-on building never left.

Darin’s real estate investing journey began with the purchase of a home in the Chicago area, which he fully remodeled while living in and renting it out. The project was a full gut rehab, including one of his most memorable feats — cutting the house in half and raising the rear section 19 inches using 14 hand-pump hydraulic jacks. With the help of friends (and a supply of beer and pizza), the back half of the house was lifted nearly two feet in a single day. Darin went on to rejoin the structure and finish every room himself, a true labor of love. The project is documented with over 1,000 photos and 100 videos.
After completing the renovation, Darin began renting out two of the bedrooms in his home, embracing co-living well before it became a widespread strategy. For over a decade, this approach has allowed him to fully offset his housing expenses.

REI Experience:
In 2021, Darin Jaske joined his first real estate education community, Renatus. By the summer of 2022, after completing coursework on short-term rentals, he partnered with a longtime friend and fellow Renatus member to launch his first Airbnb rental unit in Kissimmee, Florida, just five miles from Disney World.

Later that year, in fall 2022, Darin co-founded Eternal Holdings LLC to purchase and renovate his first fix and flip property in Buffalo Grove, Illinois: 720 Weidner Rd #101. Much of the renovation work was performed by Darin and his partner, giving them a detailed understanding of project management, design, and execution. Thanks to his years of hands-on experience in the skilled trades and residential remodeling, the project was both a success and a valuable learning experience.
In 2023, Darin began exploring multifamily investing and joined Grant Cardone’s mentoring group. By spring 2025, he became a member of Pace Morby’s Subto community, expanding his knowledge in creative financing strategies. In May 2025, he also attended Jerome Maldonado's New Home Construction training.
That same month, Darin launched We Help People With Homes, a business focused on helping buyers who have the income to afford a home but are unable to qualify for traditional financing. The goal is to provide alternative paths to homeownership for those overlooked by conventional systems.
In June 2025, Darin made a strategic decision to focus his real estate efforts on acquiring multifamily properties across the U.S. Most recently, he partnered with Chris Raven to form 2GUYSREINVESTMENTS, a venture dedicated to scaling their multifamily portfolio and creating long-term impact through real estate.

I endeavor to do that by acquiring commercial real estate so that one day I can replace my W2 income with passive income from my properties that I own and give more money to Gods Kingdom work".​
